Work with Us

Put your food, place and story at the heart of an experience people remember.

Eat the Country brings together wild food, local producers and exceptional rural businesses to create distinctive days out rooted in the landscape.

Our mission is simple: to champion the farmers, growers, makers, farm shops and venues keeping local food alive, and help more people understand the skill, work and passion behind what they produce.

These aren’t conventional foraging walks with a few samples at the end. They are carefully created experiences that connect guests with a place, the food produced there and the people responsible for it.

Why work with Eat the Country?

Reach an engaged audience

Eat the Country has a combined audience of more than 425,000 people across social media, built around wild food, British produce, sustainability and the countryside.

Partners can be introduced through event promotion, website coverage and original social content created around the experience. This gives your business visibility before the event, during it and afterwards.

Meet potential customers directly

An experience gives you something ordinary advertising cannot: time with interested people.

Guests can hear your story, discover how your products are made, taste them in context and buy directly from your farm shop or business. The aim is not simply to mention your name, but to create a genuine connection between your work and the people enjoying it.

Create useful, shareable content

Each collaboration provides an opportunity to capture photographs, short films, interviews and stories about the people, produce and landscape involved.

Selected content can be shared through Eat the Country’s channels and, where agreed, supplied to partners for use across their own social media and marketing.

Bring people to your location

Experiences can introduce new customers to farm shops, estates, hotels, farms and independent venues.

Guests may purchase produce on the day, return independently, recommend the business to others and continue following the partner after the event.

Generate additional income

Depending on the partnership, income may come from ticket sales, food and drink, direct retail purchases, accommodation, repeat visits or specially created products and packages.

Each collaboration is designed around the venue, its facilities and what makes commercial sense for everyone involved.

What could we create together?

Eat the Country currently offers three core formats:

Local Tasting

A seasonal wild food walk followed by a tasting of local produce and a seasonal drink.

Producer’s Table

A guided walk followed by a generous sharing table, bringing guests together with the people growing, rearing and making local food.

Seasonal Feast

Our flagship experience: a substantial celebration of wild ingredients, local produce, fire, folklore and storytelling.

These formats can be adapted to suit the landscape, season, produce and facilities available. We can also develop private events, seasonal specials and bespoke collaborations.

Who we work with

We are interested in hearing from:

  • Farm shops and food halls
  • Farmers, growers and smallholders
  • Cheesemakers, bakers, butchers and drinks producers
  • Estates and landowners
  • Hotels, pubs and restaurants
  • Rural attractions and event venues
  • Businesses that genuinely support British food and the countryside

You do not need to provide every part of the experience yourself. Eat the Country can bring several local partners together to create something stronger collectively.

How it works

We begin with a conversation about your business, location, audience and what you would like the partnership to achieve.

From there, we develop an experience using the most appropriate Eat the Country format. Responsibilities, costs, ticketing, promotion, content and revenue are agreed before anything goes live.

There is no rigid one-size-fits-all arrangement. The partnership needs to work creatively and commercially for everyone involved.

Let’s create something worth travelling for

If you produce remarkable local food, run an interesting rural venue or have a landscape with a story to tell, we would like to hear from you.
