Sticky Willy Juice!

by

Simply place some cleavers or sticky willy into a bottle with water, leave overnight and then have a glass when you want. Probably best to change the water and put in fresh cleavers every two or three days.

I grew up in the 80’s so any opportunity to exhibit shameless innuendo is completely irresistible to me. When I say ‘Sticky Willy Juice’ I of course mean cleavers, or goose grass or sticky weed…you know the drill.

This plant is the bane of teachers and parents the world over because who doesn’t love throwing at them? But often it’s the much maligned and annoying weeds that have the great power and this is no exception.

This little weed is a fantastic diuretic (makes you pee) but as a result it’s extremely good at flushing your kidneys and helps if you have a kidney infection etc.

So…this isn’t exactly a recipe, there’s only one stage…but it’s a great little trick to know, super simple to do and has a rather pleasant taste like cucumber.

Recipe Ingredients

  • A handful of sticky willy (fnarr fnarr)
  • A bottle, best if it's a litre or more
  • water
